Our proven Accelerated Reading Programme enables children from aged 3½ – 7 years old to kickstart their reading, move up reading levels and become confident readers within three weeks. With us, you can expect to receive a clear and actionable plan to help your child stay motivated and develop a love for reading.
In the afternoon, children have the option to engage in various activities such as arts & crafts, musical theatre, team sports and free play. We look forward to welcoming your child to Summer School 2025.
and become independent learners
Scientific research has proven time after time that Phonemic Awareness and Synthetic Phonics are the most effective methods for teaching children of all ages to read. Most schools do not teach this method yet it is proven that it can reduce the curriculum taught over three years to just three academic terms. Phonemic Awareness and Synthetic Phonics support early reading and comprehension in children.
We show your child how to work with the sounds so they can learn how to read in a very short time.
Methods that do not help:
Letter names does not help a child to read
Sight words can cause children to struggle with reading as they become heavily reliant on memory. This is the most common problem we see with struggling readers we help
Apart from the clear and actionable plan you receive from us, your can expect your child to:
Begin reading before starting Reception at age 4
Stop guessing or skipping words and no longer relying on memory or sight words to read independently
Gain the skills to become a remarkable reader, comprehend texts and spell words at a heartbeat
Wave goodbye to reading difficulties and underachievement in key subjects
Grow their vocabulary and read independently, accurately and with curiosity
Online or two centre locations (Dartford and Southgate)
We recommend your child enrols for the full three weeks to receive the maximum benefit of the Summer School.

We are very confident in the progress and results children achieve with our programme. We’ve helped over 800 children learn to read, excel at school, succeed in entrance examinations and gain entry into their school of choice. To give you peace of mind, if after the trial session, you think we cannot help your child, you don’t have to sign up with us. Your child can use the materials provided to you at the trial session and any other free materials given. You can also use our recommendation to develop an action plan for your child. Our ambition is always to give you value to support your child.
No, your child doesn’t need to know how to read or write, but must be 3+ to join our Reading programme. We will teach your child the correct pencil grip, letter formation and the sounds made by the letters of the alphabet.
Yes, all children will need to come with packed lunch with water or drinks to take them through the day. We are a nut free setting as we cater for all children with different allergies.
We love having the children learn in a fun environment, this is why we have incorporated outdoor fun activities during their 20-minute break and programme change over.
We do recommend the full 3 weeks to ensure your child takes advantage of the entire programme. Children on our reading provide have to do the full 3 weeks. Children on the Maths and English programme can do a minimum of a week.
Your child will undergo a friendly and brief programme specific assessment to ascertain your child’s level and an appropriate recommendation will be presented to you.
